About
Business & Management
The Faculty of Business and Management prepares graduates to lead, manage, and build the organizations that drive economic life. Its programs combine a rigorous grounding in the functional disciplines of business with applied skill in analysis, decision making, and leadership, and they place sustained emphasis on ethics, entrepreneurship, and the practical realities of management in a global and digital economy. The Faculty comprises two departments: the Department of Finance and Accounting and the Department of Marketing and Strategy. Each department offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including the Master of Business Administration. All undergraduate programs share a common business foundation in the first year, covering the principles of management, economics, accounting, business mathematics, and business communication, so that every graduate of the Faculty holds a consistent core of commercial literacy. The Faculty designs its degrees to develop not only technical competence in finance, accounting, marketing, and strategy, but also the judgement, integrity, and communication skill that distinguish capable managers. Programs incorporate case analysis, applied projects, and supervised industrial training, and they culminate in a capstone or research component that requires students to integrate their learning in an authentic business setting.
